How to Set Up Meta Pixel and Connect It to Your Selar Store

Meta Pixel helps you track what people do on your Selar store after they click your Facebook or Instagram ads. You can see visits, add-to-cart actions, and purchases — and use that data to improve your ads.

What You Need Before You Start

  • A Meta (Facebook) Business account

  • Access to Events Manager

  • Your Selar store dashboard


Step 1: Create Your Meta Pixel

  1. Go to Meta Events Manager

  2. Click Connect Data Source

  3. Select Web

  4. Choose Meta Pixel

  5. Click Create Pixel


  1. Name your Pixel (e.g. “Selar Store Pixel”)

  2. Enter your website URL (your Selar store link)

  3. Click Continue

Step 2: Copy Your Pixel ID

After creation:

  • You will see your Pixel ID (a long numeric code)

  • Copy it carefully

Step 3: Add Pixel to Selar

  1. Log in to your Selar dashboard

  2. Go to Menu → Integrations

  3. Click Meta Pixel

  1. Paste your Pixel ID into the field provided - You can get to the pixel page from this link https://selar.com/me/integrations/pixel 

  2. Click Update Pixel


Step 4: Confirm Setup

Once saved:

  • Meta Pixel will automatically start tracking activity on your store

  • You can verify events in Meta Events Manager → Test Events

  • Product views

  • Add to cart

  • Purchases

  • Checkout activity
