Your Selar storefront is where your audience can discover and purchase your products. You can customise how your storefront looks by choosing a template, adding your brand assets, setting your brand colours, and deciding which sections appear on your store.
This guide walks you through how to customise and set up your storefront on Selar.
Navigating to Store Templates
From your dashboard, click the hamburger icon in the top right corner to open the menu.
Select Settings.
Click Store templates.
From the Store Templates page, you can customise your storefront using four tabs:
Template
Brand Profile
Visual Style
Layout & Sections
Under the Template tab, you can choose a design that matches your store's style.
Selar currently has 10 storefront templates, including templates designed specifically for physical products.

You can explore the available templates and select the one you want to use for your storefront.
Once you've selected a template, click Update to save your selection.
You can customise your colours and storefront sections from the other tabs.
Under the Brand Profile tab, you can upload your brand assets to give your storefront a recognisable look.
You can add:
Brand Logo
Store Brand Image
Store Hero Banner
Your brand logo or text appears in the top corner of your store.
For the best result, use a small logo or brand text.
Recommended image size: 14 × 25 pixels
Maximum file size: 2MB
Your store brand image is displayed as a large circular image alongside your store name and description.
Upload an image that represents you or your brand.
The maximum allowed file size is 2MB.
If you've already uploaded an image, you can click Replace to upload a new one.
The Store Hero Banner is an optional, full-width image displayed at the top of your storefront.
Hero banners are only available on templates that support banners.
For the best result, use:
Recommended size: 1440 × 450 pixels
Format: Rectangular
Maximum file size: 2MB
Once you've added or updated your brand assets, click Update to save your changes.
Under the Visual Style tab, you can define your brand colours and visual style.
Under Color Palette, you can set your Primary Color.
Enter your preferred brand colour using its colour code.
For example:
Primary Color: #5A0B4D
Choose a colour that complements your brand and works well across your storefront.
You can also choose whether to display Selar's branding on your storefront.
Tick Hide "Powered by Selar" branding if you want to hide this branding.
Once you've configured your visual style, click Update to save your changes.
Under the Layout & Sections tab, you can control which sections are displayed on your storefront.
You can show or hide different sections of your store, including:
Featured Products — Display your featured products section.
Bio / Description — Display your bio or store description.
Toggle the relevant options on or off depending on the sections you want your visitors to see.
Once you've made your changes, click Update to save them.
After customising your template, branding, visual style, and layout, you can preview how your storefront will look before making your changes live.
Click the Preview button in the top right corner.
Review your storefront's appearance.
Check that your template, logo, images, colours, and sections look the way you want.
Make any changes if necessary.
Click Update to save your final changes.
Your storefront will now reflect your selected design and customisations.
How many storefront templates can I choose from?
Selar currently has 10 storefront templates to choose from, including templates designed for physical products.
Can I change my storefront template later?
Yes. You can return to Settings → Store templates and select a different template.
Can I add my logo to my storefront?
Yes. You can upload your logo under Brand Profile → Brand Logo.
Can I add a banner to my storefront?
Yes. You can upload an optional Store Hero Banner. Hero banners are only available on storefront templates that support them.
Can I change my storefront's colours?
Yes. Under Visual Style, you can set your storefront's primary colour.
Can I hide sections from my storefront?
Yes. Under Layout & Sections, you can choose whether to display sections such as Featured Products and Bio / Description.
Can I preview my storefront before saving my changes?
Yes. Click Preview in the top right corner to see how your storefront will look before saving your final changes.
