1. Create a Vimeo Account and Upload a Video

Step 1: Sign Up or Log In

• Head over to Vimeo.

• If you don’t have an account, sign up—it’s quick and easy!

• If you already have an account, simply log in.

Step 2: Upload Your Video

Once logged in, navigate to the Vimeo dashboard. You have multiple upload options:

• Upload from your computer – Drag and drop your video file.

• Import from Google Drive – Connect and upload directly from your cloud storage.

• Create a new video – Use Vimeo’s in-built tools to craft engaging videos.

• Record your screen or webcam – Perfect for tutorials and lectures.

• Host events or webinars – If you're going live, this is your go-to option.

Once your video is uploaded, Vimeo will process it. Wait until it's fully ready before proceeding to the next step.

2. Get the Video Embed Link

Step 3: Copy the Embed URL

• Click on the Share button on your uploaded video.

• Navigate to the Embed section.

• Copy the embed link—it will look something like:

  

  https://player.vimeo.com/video/1054040575?

This is the link you’ll use to embed your video in Selar.

3. Embed the Video in Selar

Step 4: Access Your Course on Selar

• Log in to your Selar account.

• Go to your course and click on Manage Course Curriculum.
  

Step 5: Add the Vimeo Video

• Click on Manage Lecture Content (right after the “Manage Course Curriculum” page).
  

• Scroll down to Course Resources.

• Paste the copied Vimeo URL into the designated space.

• Click Verify to ensure the link is working correctly.
  

Step 6: Save and Finalize

• Add a relevant course title and other details in the designated fields.

• Click Save to apply your changes.

🎉 That’s it! Your video is now embedded in your Selar course and ready for students to watch.
