🚀 Selar + Telegram Integration Guide

Easily connect your Telegram account to Selar and give your buyers instant access to your groups when they purchase your product.

When a customer buys, Selar will automatically add them to your linked Telegram group using a secure invite link.

🔗 Step 1: Connect Your Telegram to Selar

- Click the hamburger menu (☰) at the top right of your Selar dashboard.

  1. From the dropdown, select Integrations → Telegram.

  2. Click Login with Telegram.

  3. A modal will pop up asking for your Telegram phone number. Enter it and click Next.

  4. Open your Telegram app and look for a message from Telegram asking you to authorize the login. Tap Confirm.

  5. Go back to Selar, click Login with Telegram again, and when the modal pops up, click Accept.



✅ Your Telegram account is now connected to Selar.

👥 Step 2: Connect Your Telegram Group

  1. Open your Telegram app and add @tryselarbot to your group you intend to add it to.

2. Grant the bot admin permissions, including:

  1. Ban/Restrict users

  2. Invite/Add users


Once added:

  • You’ll receive a confirmation message in the group .

  • The group will now appear under Telegram Integrations on your Selar dashboard.


🎯 Step 3: Link Your Telegram Group to a Product

  1. Go to the Edit Product page of the product you want to link.

  2. Click the Advanced Options tab.

  3. Scroll to the Telegram Settings section.

  4. From the dropdown, select the Telegram group you want to connect.

  5. Click Save/Update to apply the changes.

🎟️ Customer Experience After Purchase

  • When a product has a linked Telegram group, the product page will show a Telegram Access tag (see attached image).

  • After completing a purchase, customers will see a Join Telegram Group button on their receipt page.

  • Clicking this button will instantly redirect them to the group with access granted.



✅ This means no manual approvals — Selar handles access automatically.

💡 Pro Tips

  • Make sure your group privacy settings allow bots to add members.

  • Refresh your Selar integrations page if you don’t see your group after adding @tryselarbot.

  • You can assign different Telegram groups to different products for full flexibility.
