Introduction: The Tickets By Selar App is built to allow event organisers to check attendees into events (online or offline), manage ticket sales, track event stats, and check in attendees. This guide will walk you through the key features and how to use them.

GETTING STARTED
Installing & Logging In
Download the Tickets By Selar app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Open the app and sign in with your Selar account.
Login options:
Email & password
Google, Facebook, or Twitter
Group Scan - Join as an extra scanner (for offline mode)
Home Screen & Events List
Once logged in, the home screen shows your list of upcoming events.
Tap an event to access ticket sales, guest lists, and check-in tools.
MANAGING TICKET SALES & ANALYTICS
Viewing Ticket Sales
Select an event to see ticket sales data.
The dashboard shows:
Total tickets sold
Revenue per ticket tier
Use filters to adjust the displayed stats.
Viewing Attendee List
Open the Guest List section to view checked-in attendees.
Details include:
Ticket tier
Name
Search by: Name, or Email.
CHECKING IN ATTENDEES
Scanning QR Codes for Check-In
Tap Scan to Check-In.
Point the camera at the attendee’s QR code on their ticket receipt.
The app will:
Verify the ticket and confirm check-in (Check In Successful)
Show an error if the ticket is invalid (Ticket not found)
Warn if the ticket was already used (Already Checked In)
Viewing Checked-In Guests
Open the Guest list** section to see attendees who have entered.**
Search by name, or email.
OFFLINE CHECK-IN MODE
Using Offline Mode
If the event is in an area with poor internet, you can enable Offline Mode.
The app will store check-in data and sync when back online.
Setting Up a Host Device
The host device downloads the full attendee list.
It creates a local Wi-Fi network for supporting scanners to connect.
All scanned tickets are saved offline and sync once the internet is available.
JOINING AS GROUP SCANNER
Connect your device to the same local network as the host.
Enter the event code or scan the QR code to join the check-in session.
Once connected, your device will:
Sync attendee data from the host
Scan tickets and push check-in records to the host
