Understanding SendPulse Variables and Tags Integration on Selar

Integrating SendPulse variables and tags with Selar allows you to create personalized and automated email marketing campaigns. This guide will walk you through understanding and implementing SendPulse variables and tags within your Selar store.


 

What Are SendPulse Variables and Tags?


Variables

Variables in SendPulse are placeholders that you can use in your email templates to personalize content. For example, using a variable like `{name}` can automatically insert the recipient's name into the email.


Tags

Tags are labels you assign to contacts in your SendPulse mailing list. They help you segment your audience based on their behavior or characteristics, allowing for more targeted email campaigns.


How to Integrate SendPulse Variables and Tags with Selar

Step 1: Create a SendPulse Account

Sign Up for SendPulse:


  • Visit SendPulse and click on "Sign Up" if you don't already have an account.

  • Follow the registration process to create your account.

  • Login to SendPulse:


If you already have an account, log in to your SendPulse dashboard.


Step 2: Access API Settings in SendPulse

Navigate to API Settings:

  • In your SendPulse dashboard, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.

  • Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.

  • Go to API Section:

  • In the Account Settings page, navigate to the "API" tab.

  • Generate API Credentials:

  • Click on "Enable API" if it’s not already enabled

  • Click on "Create New" to generate a new API key and secret key.

  • Copy Your API Key and Secret Key:

Once generated, copy the API key and secret key. You will need these credentials to integrate with Selar.


Step 3: Integrate SendPulse with Selar


Login to Your Selar Account:


  • Visit Selar Login and enter your credentials.

  • Navigate to Integrations:

  • Go to the “Settings” section in your Selar dashboard.

  • Select “Integrations” from the menu.


Connect SendPulse:

  • Find SendPulse in the list of available integrations and click “Connect”.

  • Enter API Credentials:

  • Paste the API key and secret key you copied from SendPulse into the appropriate fields in Selar.

  • Save Your Settings:

  • Click on “Save” to complete the integration process.
