How to Connect and Use Zoom on Selar
Selar integrates with Zoom to automatically generate meeting links for every session your customers book with you. This guide walks you through connecting your Zoom account, setting up a booking product with Zoom, and removing the integration.
Step 1 — Connect Your Zoom Account
Before you can use Zoom for bookings, you need to connect your Zoom account to Selar.
- Log in to your Selar account at selar.com
- From the side navigation bar, click Integrations
- Select Booking Calendar from the dropdown
- Scroll to the Video Conferencing section
- Find Zoom Integration and click Connect Zoom
- You'll be redirected to Zoom's authorization page
- Log in with your Zoom credentials and click Allow
- You'll be brought back to Selar and your account will show as Zoom Connected


Step 2 — Create a Booking Product with Zoom
Once your Zoom account is connected, set up your booking product:
Add your product:
- From your Selar dashboard, click Add Product or go to Products → Add Product
- Select Bookings as your product type and click Next
- Fill in your product details, name, image, price, description, category
- Click Save and Set Up Booking Availability
Set up your meeting type:
- Scroll down to Scheduling Settings
- Under Meeting Type, select Web Conferencing
- Choose Zoom as your preferred provider
- Complete the rest of your booking setup, booking type, availability, time slots
- Click Save
Your booking product is now live. Every time a customer books a session, Selar will automatically create a unique Zoom meeting link and send it to both you and your customer via email confirmation.
Using the Zoom Integration
Once your booking product is live, the integration works entirely in the background.
What happens when a customer books:
- Customer purchases a session from your Selar store
- Selar automatically creates a unique Zoom meeting on your behalf
- A booking confirmation is sent to both you and your customer with the Zoom meeting link
- At the scheduled time, both of you join using the link provided
Prerequisites:
- An active Selar account with Bookings enabled
- Zoom connected under Integrations → Booking Calendar


Removing the Zoom Integration
- Log in to your Selar account at selar.com
- From the side navigation bar, click Integrations
- Select Booking Calendar from the dropdown
- Scroll to the Video Conferencing section
- Find Zoom Integration and click Disconnect
- Your Zoom account will be unlinked from Selar immediately
What happens after disconnecting:
- No new Zoom meeting links will be generated for future bookings
- Any meetings already created will remain in your Zoom account untouched
